Sugar coating the facts has never served me. In fact, it made me weaker. Being able to hear the hard truth and not reacting to ignorant statements that are meant to elicit a response is vital. Some people get so caught up on the language they never really hear the message — I know, because I was one of those people.
I now believe there are topics and situations that call for stronger language, particularly to stress the severity or draw attention to the topic. Or, if you just like fucking doing it. No one needs permission or approval.
As I write this, my software is telling me that "this language may be offensive to your reader," which I find fucking hilarious. I agree, some may not be able to stomach it, but I'm not here to spoon feed you the same garbage that mainstream does. Don't like it? That's OK — I'm not here for a popularity contest. There are plenty of other sources for toxic positivity, if that's what you prefer. However, I can guarantee you none of that will make you stronger or resilient.
Cursing Is Even More Taboo for Women
We are sometimes ridiculed or judged as uneducated. Also, if we're called one of these words, it's a huge trigger for many. Hence why I have chosen to call myself a Kunt. I took the derogatory context and replaced it with my own, which is empowering.
Women are most often called a bitch, nasty woman, ugly, difficult, or a cunt when they will not concede to the will of others, or when they excel and others are jealous. Call me any of those and I will smile, because I know I own space in your mind and it's a distraction for you. Also, I will know I am on the right track because I'm disrupting the status quo, which will upset some if not many people.
