Like many people, for a long time I lacked self confidence despite wanting it. I launched Kunt Koalition to share my journey in the hopes it will help others who have also felt lost and alone. I'm not a formally trained expert but I am compelled to share what I have personally learned by experience.
I have battled anxiety, low self worth, body image issues, and the need to people please for most of my life. It left me always seeking the validation from others and landed me in situations I didn't desire to be in. I avoided uncertainty and conflict at the cost of my own happiness and growth.
Desperate for answers, I began to look inward and started making changes. I had to come to terms with the fact that my own mind was my worst enemy. Most of all, that I could not give to my son what I didn't have, so I had to cultivate it within first; authentic self-love, discipline, and developing a growth mindset.
Since becoming aware of all this I have sought to harden my mind and body. I started with simple stretching, workouts, then a lot of cycling, some Judo, lifting heavy weights. In the fall of 2020 I had my first huge personal breakthrough — crossing a busy road while cycling by myself for the first time. Now, I am active everyday because it helps my mental clarity and overall body and mind resiliency.
I now feel strong, both mentally and physically. It gives me the confidence in myself to face any obstacle in my way. I am not special; we can all become empowered and have gifts within to share to the world. When we learn and commit to things with intention we can define our purpose.
